Participants
Peace in Action was an Erasmus+ professional development project focused on peace education, conflict transformation, intercultural dialogue and digital youth work.
The project brought together 24 participants from 8 countries in Çamyuva, Türkiye. Participants took part in practical workshops, simulations, role plays, storytelling, creative activities, sport-based methods and digital campaign development.
They explored how conflicts developed and how youth workers could respond through dialogue, mediation and nonviolent communication. The programme also examined hate speech, discrimination, social polarisation and radicalisation affecting young people. Participants learned how to create safe spaces where young people could share experiences, understand different perspectives and resolve disagreements peacefully.
The project provided practical tools that participants could use in their organizations and local communities.
Strengthen participants’ skills in nonviolent communication, conflict mediation, peace education and dialogue facilitation.
Provide practical and creative methods that participants can use with young people from different cultural, social and economic backgrounds.
Build long-term cooperation between youth organizations and support future workshops, campaigns and international peacebuilding projects.
