Practical tools for youth workers to build more peaceful, resilient communities through conflict transformation, mediation, and nonviolent communication - hosted in Batumi, Sakartvelo (Georgia).
Peace, dialogue, and constructive conflict resolution have become increasingly important in today's world. Europe and neighboring regions continue to face the consequences of armed conflicts, growing social polarization, forced migration, and rising tensions within communities. Youth workers are often among the first to support young people affected by these challenges. However, many lack practical tools to prevent conflicts, facilitate dialogue, and promote peaceful solutions.
This project responds to these challenges by strengthening the capacity of youth workers and youth leaders to build more peaceful and resilient communities. It aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in conflict transformation, mediation, nonviolent communication, and peacebuilding while encouraging international cooperation and the development of future Erasmus+ initiatives.
During the training course, participants will take part in interactive workshops, simulations, role plays, peer learning sessions, and group discussions. They will also work together to design new Erasmus+ projects focused on peacebuilding, dialogue, and social inclusion.
The activity will bring together 32 participants from 8 countries. Participants include youth workers, youth leaders, and NGO representatives actively involved in nonformal education and community development.
